The ACS Community Cookbook: Sit at our Table

A gorgeous addition to any kitchen or coffee table, this collection of recipes, family stories, and community and family photographs is a true celebration of our ACS community – an invitation to join the richness that comes from the communal table.  We have gathered over 100 recipes from our amazing families, as well as local chefs from the likes of Emirates Palace, Nectar, Burro Blanco, and more, representing the cuisine and traditions of over 40 different countries around the world.

You are sure to enjoy trying a new dish from a fellow parent, or just flipping through the beautiful images of our wonderful host country and past International Day celebrations at ACS.  There are lots of familiar faces, fascinating recipes, and stunning pictures on every page.  Especially now, when we can’t join one another for a shared meal, this book provides a sense of shared experience – an opportunity to “sit at our table” for a story and some delicious food.  This cookbook – a true labor of love – is a must-have keepsake of your time as part of the ACS family, and a perfect gift for family members abroad.

All proceeds go to benefit the work of the ACS Parent Teacher Association, which strives to foster community and support our teachers, staff, students, and families.  In the face of the ongoing pandemic, the publication of this cookbook not only stands as a testament to our wonderful community but also will serve as our fundraising effort this year and vital to its continued mission in the upcoming school year.
